Use Selective Twitter Status to Update Facebook Status
Recently I was using the "Twitter" app on facebook to update my facebook status. However, every time i tweeted, this would update my facebook status and somewhat cluttered my wall. A solution to the problem is the "Selective Twitter Status" App which allows you to only update your facebook twitter when you want to. This is done simply by adding "#fb" to the end of your tweet. Try it out...
First enable the app on facebook by entering your twitter name in the middle box on the left and saving it.
Then Tweet about this blog post by following this link and include "#fb" at the end
Google Wave
Something Josh and I are looking forward to working with. Google
Wave should change the way we do email and interact with one
another over the web. Watch the video and let us know what you
think.
Noah Tapley Golf
We have been helping Noah Tapley set up social networking for his golf instruction business by helping him set up a facebook page, twiter account, google profile and suggesting a blog. Noah has been working on adding to all these things and his presence on the web is increasing each day. His main page (designed by my sister) comes up first in google search when you search for "Noah Tapley Golf" which is ideal and one of our main goals as a business.
Check out his sites:
We look foward to working with Noah in the future!

Small URL's part two
One of my co-workers (Tony Marinaro or as we know him "Google") saw our blog post last night and suggested another way to shorten links. The site http://tinyarro.ws and shortens ur link to even smaller. Try it out. One thing I do not like about this site is they do not take you directly to the website and rather make you wait a couple seconds while you see a screen from tinyarro. If you interested in shortening URL's, here is another article on shortened links or urls from Fried Beef's Tech Website.

Shorten a link using TinyURL
When using twitter you are only able to use 140 characters. This is a pretty small amount so you have to be precise with what you want to say. However, if you wish to include a link to website you will have to sacrifice some of your characters to link. If we were linking to our blog "http://www.killertechconsultants.blogspot.com" we would only be left with 95 characters to actually write a message. This is where tinyurl.com comes in. Take your link and either type or paste the address into the textbox in the middle of the home screen and voila, your 45 character link is now shrunk to 21 characters about half of the original size. Apps for mobile "tweeting" allow you to compress your links within the different applications, but the "tweeting" from the web does not allow this option, or I haven't seen it yet. It would definetely be nice to see.

Post to Twitter Using a Hyperlink...sorta
You can post a message to Twitter using a hyperlink with the following syntax
"http://twitter.com/home/?status=Follow+@KillerTech+at+http://www.killertechconsultants.blogspot.com"
This will open a twitter window when you click it, and allow you to see the message in the place where you can post a tweet. However, you will have to click post for the tweet to be successfully tweeted. If you have your username and password are saved it will go straight to your profile. If you're not logged in it will require you to log in before you can tweet. Make sure to use a "+' for spaces.
or feel free to post your own tweets for us...remember to include @KillerTech in your tweet
